Stampin Up! Grove Dies Diorama Card featuring New Horizons DSP

I have to say that the  Stampin Up! "Grove Die" set which goes alongside the "Grassy Grove"cling stamp set was over looked by me in the first look through the January-June Mini Catalogue but I'm so glad I popped back in and placed another order which included this bundle after seeing other demo's featuring this amazing set.

I took inspiration from the catalogue and made my first card with several of the dies from the set.

I used the large stand alone Die from the bundle which gives this wonderful forest look effect. I also used a couple of the deers the tall mum looking back at her youngster probably saying stop dawdling lets get a move on.

This card is in the style of a double diorama and I learnt this from a fellow demo's Youtube video I must look up her name and add it here for you well worth a watch.

You can see from the above image looking down through the centre that the front and back pieces of the card are joined at the sides which gives the impression of a picture frame. I love this and can see many more cards in this style coming int he future watch this space as they say.

I also used the New Horizon DSP just stunning images which allows you to make a very effective card in a very short space of time. I'm hoping all these items carry over from the mini into the next annual catalogue.

This is another card I made up at the same time with a different sheet from the DSP which is 6x6 but this time I didn't use the deer. It just draws the eyes off into the distance giving such a calming effect I thought.

Anyway I do hope you have enjoyed the diorama cards today I will be back shortly with a different fold card featuring this set.
