Throw Back Friday cards

Still feeling a little under the weather so giving myself a few more days to recovery so just pulling up some old cards made with now retired products to share with you.

I just love this one it was made using "Stampin Up Playful Pets Designer Series Paper" and a piece of twine for my husband for our Anniversary. We don't have dogs but I grew up with them and I just love the film that this card was based on (another demo gave me the idea for this card) and I'm just a big kid for animated films especially Lady and the Tramp This has to be my favourite scene from the movie.

I made these slider cards using the same Designer series paper so cute I was quite sad when this set retired Hopefully some thing similar will come along soon.

I will leave you now and hope that the next post I make will be with current products and that I'm feeling much better and able to craft again. Until that time Take Care

Throw Back Friday cards

I have scheduled this post to appear on Friday because I am not very well at the moment so not crafting for a little while but in the words of Arnie I will be back.

Here is just a selection of some cards I worked on in the past all using what are now Retired Stampin Up products

This was made using The "Stampin Up Traveller" The set had images of a Train Ship Camera Globe and a Suitcase.

This card was made using "Stampin Up Best Catch Stamp Set" which also came with its own set of dies and the fisherman was cut out using them.

This card was made using the "Stampin Up set called No Bones. It was stamped and then embossed over the top of him and placed in a box to give the Shaker style effect using sparkly sequins and retired Glimmer Card

I hope you have enjoyed a walk back through some of my cards using retired products. I will be back next week with some more retired products and hopefully soon after that I will be back crafter.

Thank you for looking and if I can be of any help with any questions please do click on the buttons at the top of the blog and I will get back to you as soon as possible

Monday 21 March 2022

Today I'm gong to do a post about my darling kitties because sadly I've been feeling a tad under the weather so have been unable to craft for a little while.

This is Spike my shadow If I'm crafting he is there if I doing a jigsaw puzzle he is there If I'm lying in bed he is there If I'm in the garden he is there and if I am in the sauna fur coat or not he is there here is the proof

He just loves the heat In fact he is a sauna junkie and will go to any lengths to get mummy in the sauna.

Chilled out Spike just love him so much

Puzzle assistant and as you can see he's not really much help He does enjoy moving the pieces around though and on occasion he has been known to walk off with pieces stuck to his fur and we have picked them up around the house.

This is our other cat Deejay Spikes brother we got them both from Teckles Rescue centre at Whitminster In Gloucester.

Deejay is a daddy's boy and just like Spike where ever my husband is you will find this little guy.
At the moment he is totally addicted to an on line app called Videos for cats

This him tired out after a mammoth fishing expedition. There are videos of birds fish mice and i expect many more but he is fixated on the fish ones at the moment bless him.

We are a family of Ginger kitty owners our son also has gingers in fact three of them

Here is a photo with all three of them chilling out after a day of doing important kitty stuff.

Anyway I will leave you with the notion that I am indeed a crazy cat lady there is a hint in the name of my blog and my Stampin Up Team will be known as the Kitty cat crafters.

If I can help in anyway please click on any of the buttons at the top and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Take care everyone

Stampin Up! In The Moment Stamps Window View.

Hello every one another chilly day here in Gloucester but hopefully we are all heading towards some warmer temperatures soon.

Today I'm sharing a card I made with my card class a little while ago and although it takes a small amount of paper cutting we all agreed it was worth the effort.

We used the "In The Moment Stamp Set" which has three beautiful images and three sentiments.

We used the "Stampin Up Blending Brushes" and ink pads to get the effect of the lady looking out through the window. We then stamped our image and used a combination of paper snips and blade cutter with ruler to go around the windows. I would recommend a metal ruler if you have one. We then all coloured our lady in the colours of our choice using a combination of "Stampin Write markers and Stampin Blends".

Once completed we added some Designer Series Speciality Paper called "Ever Eden" to our card stock base Added some "Open Weave Ribbon in Evening Evergreen" and then mounted our lady on to card stock and raised her using "Stampin Dimensional's" and there we had a beautiful card which can be used for many occasions.

I do hope you enjoyed todays card and I hope to see you back again soon.

If you have any questions please pop to the top of my blog and click on any of the buttons and I will get back to you asap Or you would like to become a member of my team please click that button or the message me and again I will get back to you.

Stampin Up ! Calming Camellia Cling Stamps

Hello everyone on this chilly Wednesday in the UK I'm most definitely feeling the cold right now and I'm trotting around in what hubby calls my wookie slippers (Big furry thing from Star Wars).

Anyway I am just a few days late in posting this card from the recent Stampin Up Sale-A-Bration catalogue that finished on the last day of February but I just had to share this card.

I got the idea from the amazing Jo Blackman another Stampin Up demo in the UK and she kindly shared with me how to get the white bits whiter. You can find Jo on Youtube videos.

This is my take on the card how beautiful is this stamp so sad that its not staying in the catalogues.

This beautiful Stamp set is a cling and has some amazing images Its classed as one of the distinctive stamps I can see why it's amazing.

Here's a close up so you can see the beautiful detail of the Camellia and the colouring.

And this is the sentiment I used from the same stamp set so classy don't you think

I'm hoping to be able to do a Youtube video on making this style of card but at present I have laryngitis so I don't sound too great at the moment but watch this space.

Thank you for joining me today on my blog hope you enjoyed your visit.

Stampin Up! Throw back Friday Card Club Pampered Pets

Hello everyone Well I thought as I haven't been very good at keeping up with my Blog in the last couple of years I would start a thread called Throw Back Friday to cards I have made over this time period. As my good friend on The White Beach Radio Station Graham In Lanzarote is going to have a throw back session on Fridays of past hits I stole the idea for my card projects which I have failed to share.

I have started making cards for the rescue Sara in Lanzarote who do an amazing job saving the lives of cats and dogs the link to look at the work they do is further down if you would like to take a look at what they do.

Any way based on fact the rescue furries I found a card I wanted to create on Youtube and here they are both cats and dogs covered in these cards.

I used the Pampered Pets Stamp Set plus the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper such beautiful designs and so easy to work with. It also has Dies that work with both the stamps and the DSP brilliant.

These are a type of Easel card which when you pull the ribbon the card pops up revealing the images inside how cool is that and then you write your message on the back of the card.

I think this style of card is so versatile and you can use many many images on them and I am sure I will be doing so as once you get the hang of gluing the insides correctly you are off and running.

The links to Sara's are as follows one for Facebook if your on there is

Stampin Up! Grove Dies Diorama Card featuring New Horizons DSP

I have to say that the  Stampin Up! "Grove Die" set which goes alongside the "Grassy Grove"cling stamp set was over looked by me in the first look through the January-June Mini Catalogue but I'm so glad I popped back in and placed another order which included this bundle after seeing other demo's featuring this amazing set.

I took inspiration from the catalogue and made my first card with several of the dies from the set.

I used the large stand alone Die from the bundle which gives this wonderful forest look effect. I also used a couple of the deers the tall mum looking back at her youngster probably saying stop dawdling lets get a move on.

This card is in the style of a double diorama and I learnt this from a fellow demo's Youtube video I must look up her name and add it here for you well worth a watch.

You can see from the above image looking down through the centre that the front and back pieces of the card are joined at the sides which gives the impression of a picture frame. I love this and can see many more cards in this style coming int he future watch this space as they say.

I also used the New Horizon DSP just stunning images which allows you to make a very effective card in a very short space of time. I'm hoping all these items carry over from the mini into the next annual catalogue.

This is another card I made up at the same time with a different sheet from the DSP which is 6x6 but this time I didn't use the deer. It just draws the eyes off into the distance giving such a calming effect I thought.

Anyway I do hope you have enjoyed the diorama cards today I will be back shortly with a different fold card featuring this set.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today I hope to be back again soon with yet more projects to share with you. As I say so many amazing products to show you.

If I can help in anyway with supplies, answer your questions or you would be interested in joining my team please click on any of the links at the top oft he blog and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Stampin Up In The Moment with Stitched Whimsy Die Looking out over the Horizon Card

Stampin Up's "In The Moment" Cling Stamp set has to be one of my all time Favourite sets (for now lol), I swap and change with each new catalogue that comes out.

I have for the past few years got together with a few ladies and we craft using "Stampin Up" items from my vast collection. I'm one if those hobby demos who is reluctant to let my stamps and dies go as I'm sure that when I do I will find I suddenly need them and believe me its happened on more than one occasion.

Anyway back to this wonderful collection of images in this stamp set. I've followed others around the globe using this set and taken ideas from them and been pleased with what's come out.

This was the first card I made using this set and as I'm making cards for an animal rescue in Lanzarote I thought this was very apt The Lady standing at a bar looking out over the horizon with a glass of wine in hand.

I stamped the image out and then stamped a mask to go over her whist I then used ink pads and blending brushes to add the colours.

I also coloured a small piece of Basic White card then Stamped the "Hello There" from another wonderful "Stampin Up" set called "Eden's Garden" which I then used a retired punch to get the shape I wanted. I then wrapped some Bakers Twine around the card three times and popped the sentiment on top using dimensional's to raise it.
I also used a die set called Stitched with Whimsey which doesn't cut the image out like normal dies but leaves a lovely effect on the card stock. There are several different sizes of die in the set. I used the largest in the set for this card.

Thank You for stopping by my blog today and I hope to be back again soon with another project to share with you. So many amazing products to share.

If I can help with any supplies or you have any questions please pop onto the links at the top of the page and I will be happy to help.

Stampin' Up! Awesome Otters

Hello everyone so here we are on a very blustery Monday and I'm back on the blogging path. Today I want to share a delightful fancy fold card featuring the wonderful SALE-A-BRATION STAMP SET called Awesome Otters. I found this fun fold card on YouTube by another demo and I just fell in love with these cheeky little guys and decided to use them for this card. This stamp set will not be available once Sale-A-Bration ends on the 28th February 2022. You can earn products like this with a £45 purchase from any of the current catalogues.

I used the Simply Marbleous 6x6 Designer Series Paper from the same catalogue there's some lovely colours in this pack. I also used the Stitched Shaped Dies to cut out the squares.

You can see from the above photo how its folded to open out and show the cute otter inside the centre window

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope to be back soon with more projects for you to see.

Stampin Up! Paradise Palms Cling Set

Happy Saturday my stamping friends. Hope everyone is ok out there and staying safe.

As you will all have noticed I haven't been around for a long long time on this blog but all of that is about to change and I hope to be blogging on a regular basis.

I've decided to kick off with a set that will most definitely become a firm favourite of mine as I intend to donate these cards to Sara's  cat and dog rescue in Lanzarote. Who doesn't think of sun and palm trees when thinking off the canaries.

As I was using inks and blending I decided to use Stampin' Up! thick Basic White Card Stock instead of the thinner one. I also used Basic Black for the mats inside and out.
I used the Stampin' Up! Paradise Palms Photopolymer Stamp Set (normally when making my cards I would add a greeting but I decided to leave that part blank) as I will include some tags with Greetings from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Special Moments Stamp Set.

I used a variety of Stampin' Up! Ink Pads Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape and Misty Moonlight along with Memento Tuxedo Black for the palms. And of course I used the amazing Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes (I'm just in love with these brushes they make it so easy to blend colours). I used the trusty Stampin' Up! Stamparatus to place my Palms exactly where I wanted them on my card front.

I also stamped an insert with the triple palm tree Stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black and popped them on the front of my envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope to be back with many more projects for you to see shortly.

If I can help with any supplies for future projects please click on my shop link or if you would like to join my team there is also a link you can click.
